F is for Family!

Meet the Black's! Ha! But really, I love our extended family! If you want to play games, go fishing, or eat this is family to be in! Needless to say, I fit perfect! :)
This photo was taken at Sara and Lee's Pinning Ceremony for Nursing School! We had to get a family picture for our church bulletin, so the two recently pinned nurses also joined us for a photo! Aren't we cute?

E is for Exhausted!

Okay! I am offically old! Wayne and I went out with Sara (his sister) and Lee (her boyfriend) and some of his good friends! We stayed out until 3am! No, I was not thinking! Today at work I am EXHAUSTED! And we are on deadline, but I have no brain power to think!

D is for Decorate!

Yay! I am finally starting to decorate our house! Our house is full of hodge-podge furniture from college, but I am determined to make it beautiful! According to my style quiz, I am ethnic eclectic, which is a mix of bohemian chic and contemporary ethnic flair. Basically, I am happy with anything and always up for changing things around a bit! We have already purchased a black dining room table that seats six. These are some of the other must have items for our home. First, the Riverside Crossing Panel bed and nightstand in espresso (for our master bedroom), available for a bargain at Woodland Furniture. Second, a Computer Armoire in black from Ballard Designs - it has the best organization I have found in an armoire! And last, the Mason couch and Eero storage ottoman by Rowe, also available for a bargain at Woodland Furniture. I can hardly wait to see the finished product!

C is for Cabin!

Wayne and I (and the girls) traveled to his family's cabin in Water Valley this weekend to go bream fishing at Randall's (the best bream fishing lakes around)! We caught 111 bream and got alot of sun! Bream fishing is a girl sport in Wayne's family so his mom and I caught the majority of the fish! The girls also enjoyed themselves. Neeli has been fishing before so she tried to help us as much as we would let her. Her specialty is catching the fish that flop back into the water. Nova, on the other hand, just loved all of the excitement! Needless to say, we all slept very well last night!

Tag... You're It!

Maybe I should... stay at home! Today I stayed home from work (I did not feel well), and I accomplished so much!
I love the smell of... coffee, but I hate the taste! Wayne drinks his coffee black, and the only kind of coffee that I can drink is a mocha (light, of course) frap.
People would say that I... am organized! Well, it's bc I am organized!
I don’t understand why... money doesn't grow on trees! It would really make life so much easier if it did!
When I wake up in the morning... I really like to walk the dogs! It's the best way to start the day!
I lost my willpower to... cut out coke! Ugh! I really try, but they are just so good! I try to limit myself to one a day!
My past made me... appreciate the present!
I get annoyed when I... lose! I am really competitive in everything -games, athletics, etc.
Parties are not a good time to... cook! I don't cook, so it's just best to buy something that I know will be good!
Dogs are... man's best friend! I love our girls!
Cats are... no good! I am super allergic!
Tomorrow is... FRIDAY! Yay!
I have low tolerance for... quiet hunting! Take me to the dove field or a duck blind, and I will have a blast! Take me to a deer stand, and I can't cope. Being still and quiet for long periods of time does not work well for me.
I’m totally terrified of... snakes! I don't even like to type the word!
I always knew I would... be successful! I guess I am an optimist!
Never in my life have I... broken a bone!
High school was... a long time ago!
When I’m nervous... I talk even faster than normal!
One time at a family gathering... I questioned if I was adopted!
Take my advice... live out loud!
Making my bed... only happens on the weekends!
I'm almost always... late for work! And I don't mean 5 minutes, I mean 30 minutes.
I’m addicted to... coke! Really, I have a problem!
I want someone to... give me a coke! Pretty please!

B is for Braves!

Wayne and I are HUGE Atlanta Braves fans! In fact one of our first dates was the five hour trip to Atlanta to watch the Braves play the Giants. Last May Chris and Melanie joined us for two games of series against the Detroit Tigers. We had fantastic seats - thanks to Chris! But it was very hot!!! The trip to Atlanta will be an annual tradition! Go Braves!

A is for Animal!

Yes... I said animal! Wayne likes to kill animals, and I would prefer to collect them! When I was little I wanted to be a vet, now I just want to have a farm so I can play with all the animals. However, I must admit that I am picky about the animals that I would have as pets. Of course, we already have dogs. I have also had pet rabbits (Bo Peepers and Bugs - that is another story), a hamster, and a guinea pig. But I would love to have a pot belly pig named Cecil, a mini horse, a turkey that gobbles on command, a few mallard ducks, an assortment of saltwater fish, a moo cow, a goat that eats all the grass in the backyard so we don't have to mow, a talking parrot, and lots of dogs. Yep, I think you would call that a farm!

Happy Mother's Day!

Nothing says "Happy Mother's Day" better than a cute baby dressed in pink! This is my niece, Kailee Marie. Isn't she the cutest thing you have ever seen? Whether you're the mom of some hyper puppies or a precious little one, I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!

Happy Birthday Neeli!

Maggy's Super Black Benelli turned 3 years old today - that is 21 years old in dog years! Happy Birthday Neeli! Although she turned 21 we did not celebrate with alcohol bc Neeli is carrying her first litter. Neeli and Magnum are expecting the little ones in late June. She is experiencing a bit of morning sickness and doesn't gobble her dinner done as usual, but she is still happy to receive a "Good Girl Treat" anytime!
