I HEART MY NIECE!

The most beautiful little girl in the world came to visit this weekend! And girlfriend, we had a big time! Friday night we went to BUNCO, and Kailee visited with Victoria, Stephanie's little girl! She really loved the baby, Audrey, too!

Kailee is growing like a weed (she is 20 months old) and talking nonstop - she is so smart! She especially loves animals so Saturday we made a trip to the ZOO with my Grandmommy (Kailee's great grandmother)! I think Grandmommy and I were both exhausted after three hours at the zoo!

Kailee liked the animals at the ZOO, but she loved all of the play areas! Here she is escaping from the dinosaur egg bc she saw the alligator! She is such a happy little girl! Even when she falls she looks up and says uh-oh!

This is Kailee's WINK! How cute is that? By Sunday we were so tired that we did not leave the house! Here Kailee is playing with her barn that has a pig, a cow, a duck, and a lamb, and she can tell you what each one says! SO SMART!

Kailee really loved the puppies! And Molly was the perfect size for her! Kailee would pick her up, and Molly would come back for more! It was precious! Nova, on the other hand, was not excited about getting picked up by her hair so she mostly retrieved all of Kailee's toys for me! HA! We had such a great weekend, I can hardly wait 'til the next visit!

Good Golly Miss Molly!

I had honestly forgotten how much work is required with a new puppy!!! Don't let this precious photo fool you - Molly is 100% 24/7! But no, we did not get another black lab, we are puppy-sitting this week for my mom who is on Spring Break! I guess she is truly getting me back for the many times she has kept Nova! BTW, Nova and Neeli are LOVING their cousin (well, technically she would be their aunt). Molly has already learned to grab Nova's ears and play with Neeli's tail - it's precious! And I think the girls are going to be sad once she is gone, but I AM READY!

Visiting with the Browns!

My amazing friend, Candise, and her adorable boys, Taylor and Andrew, have been staying with us this week! It is always so great to visit with Candise! And I really enjoy seeing the boys too! Wayne had so much fun making Andrew laugh and showing all of his stuffed animals (mounts) to Taylor. I can hardly wait for them to return for Spring Break next year!

Here Turkey Turkey!

Although turkey season opened this past Saturday, Wayne did not get to hunt (i.e. he was too busy with Neeli). However, he is making up for lost time - he has been every morning this week! This morning he checked his game camera to find this adorable pic! Can you believe this is a game camera photo? He is saying that he is going to kill a turkey with his bow this year - I will believe that when it happens! But maybe Andy will keep him honest! :)

Seafood and SEC Basketball

Wayne and I spent the weekend at a HUNT TEST at Lake Ponchatrain for Neeli! Well, the hunt test did not go so well, but we made up for it! On the way home we stopped in Hammond to have lunch at Don's Seafood and watch MSU vs TN! Wayne managed not to yell in the restaurant! Yay! What a game! Those Cajuns thought us Mississippi folks were crazy! Two hours later we left Don's restaurant very full. Wayne even did a little dance to celebrate! HA!

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Wayne and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary on March 3rd! Yippee! As my gift Wayne joined me (and Dustin and Amy; George and Tammy; Brad and Brittany) to walk in the Run Thru History 5k! Of course, he felt silly bc he was walking (which was advertised by his red numbers) but he was excited to learn that he won a trophy for finishing third in his age group. LOL! I asked Amy to take a photo of us so I could prove that he was really there (David Ellis and Bo and Craig Newton will also validate his presence).

Wayne, thank you for being such a great husband! Thank you for being sweet when I do not expect it! Thank you for ALWAYS cooking dinner! Thank you for singing in the shower even though you are hell to get out of the bed! Thank you for appreciating me! Thank you for making me laugh! Thank you for listening when I talk about nothing! Thank you for knowing how to push my buttons! And thanks for teaching be all of your sweet dance moves! HA! I love you!
