S is for Slide Show!

I am always in search of new accessories to put on our blog. Many of you have the cutest slide shows, so I decided to try it out myself! I had lots of fun putting it all together! It is the perfect way to share all of our favorite photos. Warning... It is only photos of Wayne and I! Check it out on the footer of our blog. And let me know what you think!

R is for Removing the Clutter!

Okay! I love some organization, and a big part of it is decluttering! So, everything that I do not want that is in my house I have moved to the garage. Wayne hates it bc he thinks the garage is part of his man-space! After the failed garage sale, Wayne has gotten on the bandwagon to help me declutter! It has been lots of fun! He started with putting a few items on ebay and has now moved to craigslist. He would never admit it, but I think he is really having fun selling things! Plus, I told him that he could have all of the profits! So far, he has done really well! Soon I will have the world organized! :)

Q is for Quality Time!

Wayne and I had a weekend full of quality time together! It was so wonderful! We went on walks together, swam in the community pool, watched movies, played with the puppies, rode around on the ranger, had dinner with friends, etc. It was so great to have a weekend to ourselves!

P is for PARTY!

Today we had a Birthday Party for my niece, Kailee. I can hardly believe that she is one year old! The theme for her party was DOTS! It was so adorable! We let her eat her cake with her fingers, which she loved! But she had icing all over the place.

I love this kid! She makes me smile! And she is so smart! She says "Hi there!" and dances - she is my kinda girl! She looks exactly like my brother, and she has my personality! :)

I had to include this photo - how could you not love these rolls? Although she is one year old she is already wearing 24 month clothes! She also really loves hats -she gets that from her daddy! Isn't she adorable in her dots?

Aunt Nova is Puppysitting!

Nova is really enjoying her niece and nephews! And yes, she is in the puppy pool! She just gets in there and hangs out until we tell her to get out. It's very funny! But I think the puppies really like their Aunt Nova! Pretty soon Nova will have her hands full. Now that they all have their eyes open, the puppies are easily figuring out how to get out of the pool! Wayne is going to build a box this weekend. Yay!

We went for a walk...

And we got soaking wet!!! Wayne hardly ever walks with the girls and me, so when he joins us it is very exciting! We made the first loop, and Wayne was ready to retire bc the clouds were getting dark. But the girls wanted to keep going! We did not make it 500 yards and the bottom fell out! As you can see the entire Black family was drenched!!!

O is for Out of Student Loan Debt!

Well, the check is in the mail!!! I have officially paid for college!!! Ha! It sounds kinda funny when you say it like that, but its the truth! Wayne and I are on a Dave Ramsey kick, and it feels so great each time we pay off a debt! Now I am not saying we are perfect or even good at living on a budget and prioritizing paying off debt, but we are really trying. Is anyone else on the Dave bandwagon?

The Bachelorette!!!

Is anyone else obsessed with The Bachelorette? Really, I guess my obsession goes back to college, watching the The Bachelor on Lockheart (my social club at the W) Hall each Wednesday after our meeting. I will never forget how we crammed 20 girls into one room and watched each minute of The Bachelor as if we were approving him to date one of our friends. Those were the days!!! Well, I guess life is a bit different now, but I still watch The Bachelor/Bachelorette religiously - with my father-in-law!!! Yes, you can read - my father-in-law! Each Monday we have dinner at Wayne's parents house, and Wayne's dad (Mitch) loves the show just as much as I do! This season of The Bachelorette was no different - actually it was better in my opinion (The Bachelor has gotten kinda trashy - I like The Bachelorette better bc I think there is a chance the relationship will actually last)! Although Mitch and I picked Jeremy (we were sick when DeAnna cut him for no apparent reason), DeAnna is a smart chic - Jesse will turn out fine! I cannot wait to see who the next Bachelor is - my vote is for Jeremy!!!

Happy Birthday America!

It's America's 232 birthday! Yay! Wayne and I had a really fun weekend that included friends, fireworks, great food, floating on the lake, and, Wayne's favorite, bean bag toss! Ha! I just love long weekends!

N is for Nova!

I love Nova! Well, most of the time! She is either being a little angel or the devil. Ha! But she is still as cute as can be. She is loving being an aunt -even though Neeli does not really like her putting her head in the pool. And she is so smart! Wayne is teaching her to retrieve, and it is the funniest thing in the world - when she gets to the edge of the carpet she leaps! Everyone needs a lap dog!!!

M is for Mom!

Neeli is such a good mommy! I really never thought that she would have a problem, even though it is her first litter, but I have so impressed by her! She knows what the puppies need, and she is very protective - Nova and visitors beware!

The Puppies are a Week Old!

I can hardly believe that the puppies are already a week old! They are growing like crazy, and they are very loud - esp. the yellow ones! I am still waking up in the middle of the night to make sure they are okay! And I am always counting them - three yellows and four blacks! Even though their eyes and ears are not open yet, they are on the move - taking this photo was difficult.
