Bling Bling Duckie!

Yes!  This mallard drake (that means boy) has jewelry on!  And not just one piece of jewelry, but two beautiful silver bands!  This is quite rare sight in the duck world!!!  In fact, this was the first double banded duck Wayne had seen in his life.  Too bad he did not kill it! :)  His friend Clint killed this lil guy, and Neeli retrieved it!  Congrats Clint!

1- I was about to graduate from high school!

1- Live completely eco-friendly (house, car, food, etc)
2- Set up a trust for my family that required certain things for them to receive the money (is it bad for me to force my morals on others?)
3- Create a scholarship fund for students who deserve to go to college but do not have the financial means.
4- Personally fund MUW so it will never go back on the chopping block - but I have to be able to select the president!  HA!
5- I am not sure I would have any money left but I would join the mission to feed hungry Americans!

On the way to work this morning I was listening to K-LOVE and Lisa & Eric were trying to decide one word to live by in 2010!  The idea came from myoneword.org!  The one word is suppose to serve as a lense through which you live your life.  The callers had lots of great words: WHOLE, OTHERS, LOVE... By the time I got to work Lisa & Eric had not picked their word for the year, but I had picked mine...

What kind of duck is that?

Well, its a mix!  The pretty green head and wing are traits of a mallard while the the grey nose is a trait of a pintail!  Not sure if the mom was a pintail and the dad was a mallard or vice versa, but its pretty neat that this happens in nature.  Wayne was thrilled to kill this guy on the river.  Now he just has to find an equally impressive mount for him! :)
